Boutique Sales Assistant

Location : Cyberjaya, Selangor

Salary : RM1800.00 - RM3000.00 per month

Job Type : Full-Time (Retail Hours)

• RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Customer Service:

  • Greet customers upon entry with a friendly demeanor and assist them in finding the appropriate clothing or accessories.
  • Provide personalized assistance to customers, understanding their preferences and offering tailored recommendations.
  • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and concerns promptly and professionally, striving to ensure a positive shopping experience.

  2. Sales:

  • Actively engage in sales activities to meet or exceed monthly sales targets.
  • Utilize product knowledge to effectively communicate the features and benefits of various items to customers.
  • Assist customers in making purchasing decisions by providing accurate information on pricing, sizes, colors, and available inventory.

  3. Measurements and Fitting:

  • Take accurate measurements and conduct fittings for customers for custom tailoring or alterations.
  • Collaborate with the tailor to ensure precise fittings and alterations are made according to customer specifications.
  • Communicate any special requests or instructions from customers to the tailor to ensure customer satisfaction.

  4. Inventory Management:

  • Monitor and maintain appropriate stock levels by replenishing merchandise on the sales floor as needed.
  • Conduct regular inventory counts and assist in restocking shelves or racks to ensure a well-organized and visually appealing store environment.
  • Notify management of any discrepancies or shortages in inventory.

  5. Visual Merchandising:

  • Assist in creating visually appealing displays to showcase merchandise and promote sales.
  • Ensure that all products are neatly arranged and tagged with accurate pricing information.
  • Regularly rotate merchandise and update displays to highlight new arrivals or seasonal items.

  6. Operational Support:

  • Assist in opening and closing procedures, including cash register reconciliation, securing the premises, and ensuring cleanliness and orderliness of the store.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding cash handling, returns, exchanges, and store security.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve store goals and objectives.

  7. Continuous Learning:

  • Stay informed about current fashion trends, industry developments, and product knowledge through training sessions and independent research.
  • Actively seek feedback from customers and colleagues to identify areas for improvement and professional development.

  8. Safety and Compliance:

  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment by following health and safety guidelines and procedures.
  • Adhere to all relevant laws and regulations governing retail operations, including but not limited to those related to consumer protection and data privacy.

  REQUIREMENT:

  • Passion for fashion
  • Proven retail sales experience
  • Previous experience in a tailor boutique is a plus
  • Flexibility to work retail hours (Tuesday-Sunday, 11am-8pm)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

In-House Tailor/Alteration Specialist/Fitter

Location : Cyberjaya, Selangor

Salary : RM1500.00 - RM2000.00 per month

Job Type : Full-Time (Retail Hours)

• Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough inspections of completed garments to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
  • Perform alterations, repairs, and custom fittings on various garments, including shirts, jackets, pants, and more.
  • Consult with clients to understand their needs and provide expert advice on alterations and fittings.
  • Take measurements and conduct fittings.
  • Measure clients accurately to ensure precise alterations and fittings.
  • Sew garments using various techniques, including hand sewing, machine sewing, and serging.
  • Ironing and steaming clothes that are finished and ready to be picked up by customers
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all tools and equipment are in good working order.
  • Collaborate with the sales and design teams to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Keep up-to-date with industry trends and techniques to provide the best service possible.

  Requirements:

  • Preferred: Male tailor, alteration specialist, and fitter.
  • Passion for fashion
  • Flexibility to work retail hours (Tuesday to Sunday (11am - 8pm)
  • Proven experience as a tailor, alteration specialist, and fitter.
  • Strong sewing skills, including hand sewing, machine sewing, and serging.
  • Excellent attention to detail and precision in measurements and alterations.
  • Ability to work with various types of fabrics and garments.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic knowledge of garment construction and design.
  • Flexible and able to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
